After
running through the airports in Charlotte and New York, Jaclyn and I finally
made it to South Africa. I spent my 15 hour journey to South Africa sitting
next to man named Roger who was from an hour north of Durban. Like me, he was someone
who enjoyed adventure, the great outdoors, and the simple life of living in a
small town. He taught me the basics about the playing positions of rugby and
told me about how he earned a living working on yachts at various ports in
South Africa, Europe, and North America. He is now the captain of his own ship
and charters guests on trips through the Caribbean and Eastern Coast of the US.
